Privacy Policy Sennheiser MobileConnect (hereinafter referred to as the "app") Data-Protection Statement

With the installation and use of the app you can make person-specific data available to us, that can then be collected from you. With the installation of the app and the consent requested during the installation procedure you consent to the processing of your person-specific data, as described here. Before installing and using the app, please read die following related points and information attentively, on how and for what purpose your person-specific data will be collected and processed.

Please read closely the data-protection statement of the platform from which you download the app. This will inform you, under the heading of "Data Protection", or "Privacy Policy", or some similar term addressing the topic of data protection, about which data is directly collected there and how it is processed. Sennheiser, as the provider of the app, has no influence on the processing undertaken there.

Installation and Use

Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG, Am Labor 1, 30900 Wedemark, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "Sennheiser") collects and processes the following person-specific data, making use of Google Analytics and Google Firebase (for details, see below):

  • the IP address, shortened by the last octet
  • the frequency, type and period of use of the app
  • the type of terminal equipment used with the app
  • the operating system and the version number
  • the country from which you, as the user, downloaded the app

The data acquisition is undertaken for purposes of provision and maintenance, as well as for improvement of the functions of the app. Sennheiser thereby receives only anonymized data from Google Analytics. The collection and processing of your data is not undertaken for the purpose of identifying you, personally, as the user.
Furthermore, the anonymized data is used by Sennheiser for preparation of statistical evaluations relating to the use and distribution of the app (see also below, relating to Google Analytics and Google Firebase).
No passing-on of the person-specific data to a third party and processing for purposes other than those previously mentioned, or exceeding these, is undertaken.
You have the possibility at any time, within the framework of the statutory regulations, to demand information, correction, blockage or deletion of your person-specific data collected and processed by Sennheiser, provided this does not contradict safekeeping obligations or other statutory or mandatory official stipulations.
To the extent that Sennheiser processes your person-specific data, you can furthermore revoke your approval relating to the processing, with effect as to the future.

With Respect to Google Analytics and Google Firebase
In the app, use is made of Google Analytics and Google Firebase, a web-analysis service of Google Inc., an Internet service company with registered address in the USA ("Google"). Consent to the use is requested during the first start-up of the app.
On use of the app Google Analytics possibly receives the name of the app and an ID, in order to be able to understand which Google advertisements have been shown in other apps on your device.
The following data is collected and processed by means of Google Analytics and Google Firebase:
