Request frequencies for professional productions

Short-term usage

For temporary events such as motor races, sports events, concerts and exhibitions, frequencies are allocated in a fast and simple procedure. This frequency allocation is however restricted to particular locations and events.
The request can be informal or made using the request form.

Permanent use

For the permanent use of wireless microphones, which also covers different locations, the Federal Network Agency allocates frequency ranges.
Frequencies can be requested from the Federal Network Agency using the appropriate form.

Charges for the professional use of frequencies

Allocating frequencies in the 470-694 MHz range incurs costs. After duly registering you receive a frequency allocation certificate from the Federal Network Agency, which is usually valid for 10 years.
The allocation costs a one-off fee of €130, regardless of the number of wireless systems. An annual fee of approx. €10 per channel is also due. A one-off change to the certificate costs approx. €65.
Public facilities such as schools can be exempt from the costs.
